Australian Defence Force Academy, Undergraduate
Further specialist courses provide Engineers with specific knowledge on the functions of their specialisation and are normally completed within the first 12 months of service.
Civilian Recognition
Aerospace Engineers are strongly encouraged by senior management to participate in the Engineers Australia/Australian Defence Force (EA/ADF) Graduate Development Program. Through participation in this program the Aerospace Engineer will achieve Chartered Professional Engineer status and registration on the National Professional Engineers Register.
Furthermore, the Air Force will meet the ongoing cost of EA membership while the Aerospace Engineer remains a member of the Air Force Aerospace Engineers Specialisation.
