May be posted to any RAAF base within Australia. Following appropriate post graduate tactical training, graduates may also be posted to participate in Operations overseas. Recently RAAF Air Traffic Controllers have participated in operations in Iraq, Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and Khartoum (Sudan).Exercise participation
Graduates may participate in a variety of tactical exercises on graduation from ATC course working closely with Army units. Additionally, they may have the opportunity to participate in maritime activities on board Naval vessels.
