Qualified, Other Ranks (Technical)
Carpenters may be employed at a number of units and bases within Australia, such as:
- Number 381 Expeditionary Combat Support Squadron (RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW);
- Number 1 Airfield Operational Support Squadron (RAAF Base Townsville and RAAF Base Richmond, NSW); and
- Carpenters may also be attached to Army Engineering Units for specific taskings.
Other Ranks (Technical) (Reserve)
Reserve squadrons which may contain Carpenter positions include 13SQN (DARWIN); 21SQN (MELBOURNE); 22SQN (SYDNEY); 23SQN (BRISBANE); 24SQN (ADELAIDE); 25SQN (PERTH); 26SQN (NEWCASTLE); 27SQN (TOWNSVILLE); 28SQN (CANBERRA); and 29SQN (HOBART).
