As an Education Officer, you may be initially posted to any RAAF base within Australia or individual command headquarters, and should not necessarily expect a posting back to the locality from which you were recruited. During your initial posting you are likely to be required to do a range of tasks in a number of different areas.
Subsequent postings could involve more senior roles in managing training and coordinating the efforts of junior Education Officers.

21SQN (Melbourne); 22SQN (Sydney); 23SQN (Brisbane); 24SQN
(Adelaide); 25SQN (Perth); 26SQN (Newcastle); 27SQN (Townsville);
28SQN (Canberra) and 29SQN (Hobart).
