It is essential that the applicant has completed Year 12 with passes in English, NSW 2 Unit Calculus-based Mathematics (or other state equivalents) and two other board approved subjects. It is essential that Trigonometry and Geometry are elements of the Year 11/12 Mathematics studied. It is desirable that Probabililty, Statistics or Calculus are included in these studies.
The majority of jobs in the ADF are available as Full Time positions, many are also available as Part Time or Reserve positions. A select number of jobs are available through the Gap Year program.
