Postgraduate Training 

Role Specific Training.  In addition to initial employment training, GSEFITT2 and GSETECHs may be required to undertake further postgraduate trade training to allow employment on different equipment types and specialised employment areas. These postgraduate courses can include: Aircraft Arrestor System Maintenance (mechanical and electrical), Automotive Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Specialist, Fuel Quality Control, Fuel Quality Centre Operator (laboratory testing), Bushmaster driver and maintainer and Fire Vehicle Maintenance and Operator.

Professional Military Education Training (PMET) Scheme. Members of the GSE employment trade group are subject to the normal requirements of PMET.  PMET is a mandatory requirement for rank progression.
