The Aircraft Structural Fitter is a skilled tradesperson who is responsible for the inspection, testing, repair, assembly, manufacture, rebuild, refurbishment and modification of Army aircraft metal and composite structures and aircraft structural components. The types of aircraft that Aircraft Structural Fitters can maintain throughout their career are the Sikorsky S-70A-9 Black Hawk, the Eurocopter EC665 Tiger Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter (ARH), the CH47 Chinook and the Multi Role Helicopter (MRH 90).
