On appointment as a Dental Officer you will be posted to a Dental
Unit located at a major Army base within Australia. The most you
could expect to remain in this posting is from one to three years.
Likely locations are all state capitals and some provincial
centres.
Graduate (Reserve)
Most Dentists will be posted to dental units associated with Combat
Services Support Battalions (CSSB). These are located in all
capital cities and Townsville. Depending on rank and experience,
other locations are possible if the officer decides to accept
non-dental jobs.
