Other Ranks (Non Technical)
Aside from promotional courses, Groundcrewman Aircraft Support are required to attend the following courses throughout their career as part of their career development and trade proficiency requirements:
- ARH Tiger Forward Arming and Refuelling Point Operator and Team Leader courses;
- MRH90 Multi Role Helicopter Forward Arming and Refuelling Point Operator course;
- Fuel Quality Control course;
- Explosive Ordinance Supervisor course;
- Air Portability Team Leader course; and
- Destruction of Malfunctioned Explosive Ordinance course.
After 18 months experience within their trade, Groundcrewman Aircraft Support may elect to trade transfer to Aviation Aircrewman Loadmaster provided that they meet all of the pre-requisites.
