Education Requirements
To be appointed as an Army officer under this stream, you must be
registered as a Barrister and/or Solicitor of the High Court of
Australia, or of the Supreme Court of a State or Territory of
Australia, or to have passed all examinations for admission.
Documentary evidence of registration must be produced.
Applicants for Army Legal officer are to be interviewed initially by the Selection Board Panel Leader or Command Legal Office (CLO) or the senior ARA Legal officer in regional areas where there is no CLO, or both.
