Civil Accreditation
Other Ranks (Technical)
Army is currently undertaking a review of civil accreditation gained through Army training. Consequently, the employment training you receive may contribute to the following:
On successful completion of the training requirements, graduates are eligible for a Certificate of Completion issued by ALTC.
Trainees are also eligible to apply for registration with the Victorian Plumbing and Gasfitting Board, and apply for a Victorian Plumbing Licence, both of which are nationally recognised. The Victorian Licence is reciprocal in all states of Australia. Other civil accreditation includes:
- Certificate III in Plumbing and Gasfitting;
- Certificate IV in Construction Site Supervision: granted to personnel on being assessed as competent as an ARA Corporal;
- Diploma of Construction Works Supervision: granted to personnel on being assessed as competent as an ARA Sergeant; and
- Advanced Diploma of Construction Works Management: granted to personnel on being assessed as competent as an ARA Warrant Officer.
