Other Ranks (Non Technical), ADF Gap Year
Infantry Course: 71 days
Recruit training at Kapooka is followed by the 71 day Royal Australian Infantry Initial Employment Training - ECN 343-1 Course at the School of Infantry, Singleton, NSW. At the School of Infantry you will be trained and qualified in Infantry tactics, Infantry weapons and Infantry equipment.
Other Ranks (Non Technical) (Reserve)
Infantry Course:
Recruit training at Kapooka is followed by two modules of 16 Days each conducted regionally.
Mod 1: 16 days continuous or non-continuous training (weapon qualifications, equipment, First Aid and fitness).
Mod 2: 16 days continuous training (fieldcraft and field exercises).
