Awesome prizes to be won
The Army Challenge Award (ACA) is full of prizes for you, your club and the players. All you need is to get involved and start playing!
ACA Club Award
By registering your details here, you are on your way to helping your Club win the
Club Army Challenge Award for 2011.
There will be four fun Army Challenge Award online games over the season – play
the games and win points for your Club. The Club with the most number of points
at the end of each month long ‘quarter’ will win a $1,000 voucher from their choice
of Rebel Sport, Bunnings or Harvey Norman. There will be a winning Club in every
state group, every month, so get involved to win!
Think your Players need some toughening up? We’ve thrown a special launch prize
in to the mix! Clubs with the highest number of points at the end of the month-long
first ‘quarter’ will receive a personalised training session from a real Army Physical
Training Instructor, at your Club.
If this wasn’t enough, the Grand Prize of $4,000 is awarded to the Club that’s gathered
the most number of points across the whole season. Again, there’s a Grand Prize
up for grabs in every State Group.
- Launch Prize: a two hour personalised group training session with an Army Physical
Training Instructor
- Each Quarter: a $1,000 voucher redeemable at the Winning Eligible Club’s choice
of either Bunnings, Harvey Norman or Rebel Sports
- Grand Prize: $4,000 towards benefiting your Club
ACA Player Award
To be in the running to win the Army Challenge Award player prize, local footy players
will need to demonstrate the core values of Courage, Initiative and Teamwork on
(and off) the field. Each week, when a club enters their game results into the Sporting
Pulse Membership system, one player will be selected by their Club Administrator
for best demonstrating values of Courage, Initiative and Teamwork.
The Player who receives the most nominations at the end of the four-month season
will be named the Army Challenge Award player of 2011. There will be a winner in
every state group (NSW/ACT, SA/NT, VIC, TAS, WA and QLD).
Being voted the Army Challenge Award player of the year in your state group is not
only an honour in itself, but brings with it some awesome prizes too! These include:
- Army Challenge Award Sherrin footy
- Limited edition Army Challenge Award footy jersey
- All-expenses trip to Canberra for yourself and a mate, where you’ll get:
- Behind-the-scenes access to tackle real Army obstacle courses
- An Army Challenge Award medallion, presented by footy legend Glenn Archer at a formal presentation dinner
