Academic

Military

The military training program is designed over a three-year period to provide you with the fundamental knowledge, skills and attitudes required by Junior Officers in the ADF. This provides a foundation for the individual Services to conduct further training and development when you leave the Academy. Learn More

We pay you to study

There are many things that make ADFA different. One of the most significant is the fact that we pay you, up to $33,753 per year, to study. As well as this you receive a textbook allowance, free healthcare, and subsidised uniforms. Your Student Contribution Charges (HECS) are even paid for by the ADF. What's more, you're guaranteed a career as an Officer in the Navy, Army or Air Force when you graduate.
