Defence is reviewing the way it engages Australian youth and the contribution various Defence programs make to this. Comprehensive policy addressing the issue will be developed to guide future programs.
As a direct consequence, the Defence Technical Scholarships (DTS) program will be suspended for 12 months.
Thank you for your support over the last four years. It has been very much appreciated and, we hope, has contributed to the development of the scholarship winners.
We will be in touch in October 2013 regarding DTS 2014.
