HMAS Albatross, home to the RAN's Fleet Air Arm, is located in the Shoalhaven Shire, a place with a long history of involvement in Australia's aviation development. Located in south-eastern NSW, approximately 2 hours south of Sydney, it is a beautiful part of Australia. Jervis Bay is 15 minutes from HMAS Albatross and offers 160 kilometres of coastline with 109 beaches, claiming the whitest sand in the world.

Our Pilots and Observers are a unique cockpit team. Responsible for the strategic employment and safety of the aircraft and its crew, they work from within the Navy's fleet of advanced air capable war ships. Our Aerospace Engineers work with the Navy’s range of high-tech helicopters, to manage and design the maintenance and repairs of their integrated weapons systems, sensors and flight simulators. In the Aircraft stream, you’ll look after the engine and flight control systems, aircraft structures and finishes.
