Civil Accreditation
The Royal Australian Navy offers competency based training in
conjunction with the National Training Syllabus. This means that
most training is nationally recognised and accredited. Boatswains
Mates are eligible for the following civil accreditation:
Seaman/Able Seaman
Certificate III Public Safety (Boatswain Mate)
Certificate II in Government
Leading Seaman
Certificate IV in Maritime Operations Supervision
Statement of Attainment towards Certificate IV in Government
Petty Officer
Diploma of Maritime Operations Management
Statement of Attainment towards Diploma of Government
Warrant Officer
Advanced Diploma of Maritime Operations Management
Advanced Diploma of Government
