Applicants must have met the educational requirements of their church or faith group prior to ordination or equivalent. They must be deemed suitable by the appropriate denominational Principal Chaplain and be endorsed by the appropriate member of the Religious Advisory Committee to the Services (RACS).
Applicants must have at least 2 full years of pastoral experience since ordination or equivalent.
The majority of jobs in the ADF are available as Full Time positions, many are also available as Part Time or Reserve positions. A select number of jobs are available through the Gap Year program.
