Further Training
Other Ranks (Non Technical)
The Royal Australian Navy provides competency based training that
conforms to the Australian National Training Syllabus. This means
that most training is nationally recognized and is accredited under
the Information Systems Enterprise ITAB. Further information is
available from your Navy Careers Adviser.
Sailors can be selected to undertake advanced training courses later in their career. These courses can include, but are not limited to management courses and category specialisation courses for promotion.
