The majority of jobs in the ADF are available as Full Time positions, many are also available as Part Time or Reserve positions. A select number of jobs are available through the Gap Year program.

Opportunities for Training Systems (TS) Officers are mainly in the ‘train the trainer’ field. There are limited opportunities to undertake traditional teaching or instruction. The prime function of a TS officer is to oversee trainers, develop, manage and co-ordinate a wide range of training, delivery systems and provide training systems expertise on all aspects of the Defence Training Model.
