INDIGENOUS PRE-RECRUIT PROGRAM (IPRP)
This 6-week program can help you build confidence, fitness and resilience before you start your career.
PROGRAM DETAILS
Before you join the ADF, get a taste of military life and build your physical strength and resilience. You’ll leave with the fitness and skills to begin your career with confidence. You’re also encouraged to contact our dedicated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Specialist Recruiting Team who are serving ADF members. They can explain the program and guide you through the application process.
What You'll Learn
You'll gain the skills and knowledge required to overcome any challenge you face in your future career. The course includes classroom learning, physical fitness and adventure training.
Where You'll Go
You'll undertake IPRP at either HMAS Cerberus in Victoria, Kapooka in New South Wales or RAAF Wagga in New South Wales.
Who Will Mentor You
You’ll be mentored by current serving ADF members who will help you understand what it takes to build your career in the Navy, Army or Air Force.
Who You'll Become
You’ll be prepared for whatever lies ahead and able to launch your ADF career with confidence.
